In Nairobi, Kenya, leading scholars, researchers, and peace practitioners gathered for the Sudan’s Universities: Remembering Civic Struggles, Promoting Peaceful Futures conference Hosted jointly by the British Institute in Eastern Africa (BIEA) and the Rift Valley Institute (RVI), the event explored how academic institutions can contribute to civic engagement, peacebuilding, and societal resilience during times of conflict and transformation.
TISEH Limited was privileged to provide professional simultaneous interpretation equipment and on-site technical support throughout the sessions. Our setup featuring high-fidelity headsets, interpreter booths, and wireless receivers ensured inclusive participation and clear communication among all delegates, fostering dialogue across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
By enabling effective communication, TISEH supported a critical conversation on the role of universities in peacebuilding, civic life, and education in conflict-affected contexts. The conference highlighted the power of knowledge exchange and collaboration in promoting understanding, unity, and sustainable futures.
